Go, Team Grace!

A massive congratulations to our swimmers who swam at Redcliffe in the MS Swimathon over the weekend. Grace Swimming raised almost $2000, so Coach and swimmer Tina wants to say “A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated/sponsored our team.”

“We managed to swim 12 hours continuously relay style with a total of 807 laps (50m pool)” she added. “We also took 1st place in the 50m sprint (Jared). Plus equal 1st place in the Hour of Power (Most laps swum combined over 2 one hour periods 9 - 10am and 3 - 4pm) Skye, Fiona, Liam, Brooke and Jamie combined. A big congratulations to Liam Dwyer who received the Youth Award for outstanding effort in and out of the pool! My MVP award goes to Craig Wilson who was there 6am - 6pm swimming and lap counting the whole day. Overall it was a fantastic day and a great success for everyone involved.”

Thanks to everyone who supported Team Grace, and thank you to our wonderful swimmers for doing such a fantastic job for a great cause. Finally, a great big thank you to Tina for coordinating everything and leading the team. We are lucky to have you as a coach and as a swimmer!
