The Learn to Swim Pools at Grace Swimming have recently had a revamp! Not only have the team been busy with the paint brush, but we’ve upgraded our Ultraviolet system.

Grace Swimming has had UV as our secondary source of disinfectant for over 20 years, but the Baby Pool has now been upgraded to a state-of-the-art Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system. The new multi-barrier sanitation system reduces the risk of things like pathogens (yay!), which not only makes them COVID-19 destroying, but also has amazing results on the quality of the water in the pools (did someone say Maldives?). We are confident that you will struggle to find better water anywhere else on the Peninsula!

Not only do pools with no chloramines look like something from your favourite island holiday destination, but they produce an improved experience for swimmers in regard to comfort. This allows our excellent teachers to facilitate sessions involving younger swimmers which, for example, remove goggles to be able to practice things like fall-ins without worrying about irritation to eyes.
